Visiting Punxsutawney from April 30th to May 9th? Keep your eyes open around town for these name suggestions boxes! You can give your name suggestions to the Punxsutawney Groundhog Club to help name Phil and Phillys' new arrivals! We are allowing the community of Punxsutawney and anyone who visits us the next few days to help by giving us your name suggestions. We will be announcing the names on Sunday, May 12th (Mother's Day).
Rent Gobbler's Knob
Gobblers Knob, a famous yet rustic location, is not only home to where Punxsutawney Phil makes his appearance every February 2nd, but also a venue available to rent for an event.
Gobblers Knob is adorned with native flora and fauna of Western Pennsylvania and extensive outdoor space. The building that is rented holds up to 175 people. It comes with tables and chairs that are available for use. There is a kitchen available that includes a commercial size stove, refrigerator, workspace, and sinks. There also are separate restrooms for women and men as well as a handicap/family restroom.
There are also numerous picnic tables outside to accommodate an outdoor event with magnificent views. There is a large field that could be used for various different things including baseball, softball, volleyball, croquet, and so much more!
There is a $300 refundable deposit for all rentals.
The pricing for the rentals is $500 per day.
Photographers wishing to use the property for sessions must contact the GHC, sign a lease, and pay the rental fee.
The deposit is when the lease is signed. The rent is due one month before the rental date.
