Don't you wish spring
Would come our way?
I could imagine it every day.

Groundhog Day, Groundhog Day!
6 more weeks will not be fun.
If he sees his shadow,
I'm going to run!

February 2nd is Groundhog Day
On Groundhog Day Phil comes out
If it is sunny he will go back in his hole
It means 6 more weeks of winter.

If it is dark spring is right around the corner
I hope he does not see his shadow
Because I want to stay up late
And go swimming in our pool.
