February 1st and 2nd in town lots and streets are free with the exception of the Pantall Hotel lot.

Knob Information Booth

There will be an information booth at Gobbler's knob on Feburary 1st from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and again on February 2nd from 3:00 AM - 10:00 AM

Bus to the Knob Information

Visitors can walk to Gobbler's Knob (1.5 miles from Barclay Square) or take knob bus. Busses to Gobbler's Knob begin departing at 3:00 AM from three locations. They will continue running to the knob until 6:30 AM however, arrival in time for the proclamation cannot be guaranteed on any bus departing for the knob after 5:30 AM The fee for the bus is $5.00 per person or $10.00 per family. Locations for the bus are as follows:

Alley off W. Mahoning St. beside McDonald's
County Market in the Groundhog Plaza ( along Route 119 coming from the North)
Wal Mart (along Route 119 coming from the South)

There will be two return stops from the Knob. McDonalds, downtown and Wal Mart, Route 119.

Shuttle from Town to parking areas following Knob

8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

3 buses will run a loop from stop at McDonald's, Punxsutawney Plaza (Aldi's), Wal Mart Plaza, The Knob and back to town. Shuttle will run approximately every 15 Minutes. The bus will stop at the Historical Society and the Christian Alliance church upon request, but will not pick up there.
