Larry Richert, another popular weather forecaster, interviews Phil for KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh. Richert has made several appearances as the guest speaker at the Groundhog Club's annual banquet. Richert's life often parallel's Bill Murray's Groundhog Day movie character as he is sent, year after year, to Gobbler's Knob to cover the event!
