6th Annual Community Yard Sale, Non-Profit Showcase, Artisan & Farmers Market

The 6th Annual Community Yard Sale, Non-Profit Showcase, Artisan & Farmers Market will be held Saturday, June 9th at Gobbler’s Knob. The sale will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine. The GHC feels that it is a great way for the community to come out, mingle, and have a great day.

“We like to have the non-profits participate because it is important that the community supports their causes. Each non-profit in our community works  very hard to promote their mission. This event is an opportunity for them to recruit volunteers and publicizes their events.” Said Katie Donald, Executive Director of the GHC. The Yard Sale, Artisan and Farmers Market aspect of the event is a way for people to sell items that someone else needs or something wonderful that they have helped to create.

There will be food available for purchase at the building at Gobbler's Knob. The proceeds will go toward the Punxsutawney Groundhog Club's mission to promote and perpetuate the Legend of Phil. Some of the non-profits that are attending include but are not limited to : The Punxsutawney Historical Society, PEO International, and many more. Some of the yard sale items include house hold goods, clothes, furniture, tools, and children's items. If you are interested in a space, please contact the GHC at 814-618-5591 or by visiting the GHC Headquarters at 200 W. Mahoning St. Suite 1, Punxsy PA 15767.  The space size is 15ftx15ft and is $10.
