Bus to the Knob Information

Visitors can walk to Gobbler's Knob (1.5 miles from Barclay Square) or take the Knob bus. Buses to Gobbler's Knob begin departing at 3:00 a.m. from several locations. They will continue running to the knob until 6:30 a.m. However, arrival in time for the proclamation cannot be guaranteed on any bus departing for the knob after 5:30 a.m. The fee for the bus is $5.00 per person or $10.00 per family. Locations for the bus are as follows:

Alley off W. Mahoning St. between McDonald's and The Animal Hospital downtown
County Market in the Groundhog Plaza ( along Route 119 coming from the North)
Wal-Mart (along Route 119 coming from the South)
Punxsy Plaza (along West Mahoning Street)

There will be two return stops from the Knob. McDonalds, downtown and Wal Mart, Route 119.

Shuttle from Town to parking areas following Knob

8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Two buses will run a loop from stop at McDonald's, the Historical Society, Punxsutawney Plaza (Aldi's), Christian Missionary Alliance Church, Wal Mart Plaza, The Knob and back to town. Shuttle will run approximately every 15 Minutes.
