Samantha Sears will be performing on Friday, February 2nd in the Celebration Tent at Barclay Square at Noon and 2 p.m.
"I've always been musical; my mother tells me that I was singing before I could talk. I performed in band and choir through out elementary and Jr/Sr high school. After many years as a karaoke queen, I joined my first band in 2010 and after that first taste, I never looked back. I learned to accompany myself on guitar 6 years ago and ukulele 5 years ago and have been performing full time as a solo musician since 2012. In addition to performing solo, I've have the opportunity to play in multiple bands, both past and present and continue to immerse myself in music. My performance is an eclectic blend of acoustic rock with a mix of my own original music and covers of my favorite songs; touching on classic rock, folk rock, alternative rock, 90's rock, indie, pop, country, and everything in between"-- Samantha

Nick Forsyth will be performing Thursday, February 1st in the Celebration Tent in Barclay Square from 5 p.m.- 8 p.m.
"I was born and raised in DuBois, Pennsylvania. I got my start in music at a very early age, following in my dad’s footsteps. I have to say my dad, Alan Forsyth, was and always has been my biggest inspiration for my love of music. Beginning at a young age, I would watch him play and sing, whether it was with a band or at home. I always sat there in awe of his passion and talent, knowing someday I would love to do the same. I began taking piano lessons in elementary school, moving on to learn drums and percussion in my teen years. My love for performing began when my dad threw me to the wolves at Tri-County Church one Sunday when the usual drummer did not show up. He assured me I was ready, and from then on I could not get enough of music. When I was 16, I became the drummer in my first band that I started with some friends. I started picking up the guitar and singing in my teens as well, experimenting with music and video production in my free time. I continued to play drums with various bands and Tri-County’s worship team into my 20’s. I graduated from Clarion University with a BS in Communication, focusing on audio and video production. After my dad passed away, I started playing guitar more often, especially when I moved to Greensburg in 2008. Drumming wasn’t feasible living in a small apartment, so guitar became my main focus during that time. I then became the sound engineer at a club called Gators outside of Pittsburgh for a little over a year before moving back to DuBois in 2011. Shortly after my move back to DuBois, I started working at Continuous Metal Technology in Ridgway, PA and quickly moved up to the office working at TomBob Outdoors as the Multimedia Specialist. After sitting in at a few open mic nights at a local bar in DuBois after work, they offered me the weekly gig of hosting when the former host stepped down. After a month or two of hosting open mic nights, I started to branch out and pick up a few other monthly gigs, playing my acoustic sets at various restaurants, bars, and wineries in the area, which includes music from Led Zeppelin to Johnny Cash to Tom Petty and everything in-between. Along with my acoustic performances, I still play drums in the metal band Neocracy. Throughout my musical career, I have had the privilege of opening for acts such as Michale Graves (former lead singer of The Misfits) and Robert Sweet (drummer from Stryper) when they toured through the area as well as playing at Sturgis Bike Week in South Dakota and Cornerstone Festival in Illinois."- Nick Forysth
